Naturalist, educator, animal lover!
Experienced, trained, and educated in wildlife biology, I have loved animals dearly and yearned to care for them all my life. Ive had many dogs throughout my life, rescuing them and giving them a loving home, and now have a sweet kitten named Tangerine. I’ve worked with both wild animals and many folk’s best friends. I have cared for fury friends of all kinds in many settings and in many places. I now have years of experience and many happy and returning clients. And, while I’m not a certified trainer, I do pride myself on training doggos or maintaining their training, the best I can. I love animals!

Safety, trust & environment
I have stayed in many homes to care for pets. I find it makes the animals most comfortable to be home where they have their routine and their own familiar territory. I want them to be as safe, happy, and comfortable as possible, while their parents are away.

We loved having Emily care for our precious baby girl! She was sweet and accommodating and our dog was very happy to be with Emily!
Emily was great! We came to ojai for a wedding and Emily came to our hotel to take our dog out. We would definitely use Emily again if we came to ojai.

Emily was soooo good with our dogs, they loved her immediately! And was so accommodating of our needs! We are so grateful to her for taking such good care of our pups.
We are forever grateful to Emily for taking care of our baby and home while we were gone! Our dog warmed up to and trusted her immediately and she sent us lots pictures, videos, and updates. She also took very good care of our home so it felt lovely when we returned home.
I have entrusted my dogs with Emily for the past 6 years. She treats them as her own, and I never have to stress if they are under her care. I am able to go out of town without worry for their welfare. They probably have more fun with her than they do with me! In fact, I think they might be secretly disappointed when I finally return! I would highly recommend Emily to anyone in need of a caregiver for their pets.

Schedule
I am an artist and designer, and my work is flexible and can often travel with me. I have developed the perfect flow, so that I can be with our fury friends when they need me, while also getting my work accomplished.
