I am not working full time, only part-time, occasional fill-in shifts at a hospital at the moment and have ample time for individualized attention for your furry friend. While I’m home most of the time caring for my daughter, when we do step out for errands, my husband, who works fully remote is home to ensure your pet still receives attention and care.

I have plenty of space and no pets currently of my own - my home is very open for plenty of space to roam around. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I follow careful routines and supervision to ensure everyone stays comfortable and secure during their time with us. I love building long-term relationships with the pets and families I care for, and I’m happy to welcome new clients. Since I have a 3-year-old at home, I look for dogs who are gentle around young children. I don’t have a fenced yard, so I prefer dogs who are able to walk on leashes and are potty trained. I’m also flexible and experienced with pets who have specialized needs, including seniors, pets with separation anxiety or mobility issues, and those requiring oral or topical medications. I take care to ensure each pet is a great fit for our home and routine.
A typical day
I’m home full-time caring for my daughter, and our days are filled with fun and routine. We enjoy lots of indoor and outdoor play, daily walks to one of four nearby parks, and explore the trails in our neighborhood nature preserve. There’s also a private, fenced dog park just a short walk away. My daughter loves playing with the pets we care for, making our home a happy, active environment.

Hello, my name is Emily. I grew up with animals out on the farm in Ohio since I was little. I have always had pets. Walking, playing with, and caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes is a passion of mine. I walk dogs, reinforce training, feed dogs, play with dogs, and do day time or overnight dog sitting. I have years of experience doing all of the above. I truly connect with animals. Your babies will be cared for and loved just as if they were my own.

My golden retriever’s stay with Emily went great! She sent lots of pics and keep me updated. She got him out for plenty of exercise. He seemed happy hanging out with her family. I would definitely have Milo stay with Emily again.
