Ever since the age of 5, my family has always had pets around us. From rabbits to cats, to dogs, and even Beta or Goldfish. After I moved to the Pacific Northwest at 21, I adopted a stray cat. Unfortunately a year into taking care of him, he passed away due to uncurable health issues. After I mourned and missed him, I went on to adopt and raise a 2 month old female gray kitten, who is now 11 years old. I also have a Blue Heeler/Cocker spaniel mix who I adopted from the pound 6 years ago. He was middle aged when I adopted him so I really got to learn how to manage an older dog by taking care of specific needs and having regular vet check ups. Two years ago, I adopted two teenage gray sister cats, who are now almost 3. My fur babies are a tight nit family who gets along with one another, and I am proud to watch them grow and flourish in the lifestyle I have made for them. As for experience, aside from taking care of the family pets growing up and being a long time pet owner, I worked at Red Rover dog sitting company back in 2017 for about a year, going to peoples' homes for either a 20 minute dog walk, hour long dog park adventure, or overnights for dogs if owner was going to be out of town and needing something more long term. Due to how busy I was at the time, working a full time set scheduled job, I was unable to make spare time. In the last few months, I have no other obligations with needing to work full time, and am ready to take care of other peoples' animals. I have always taken joy in helping others out with their pets because I know how hard it can be when people have to go to work, be gone all day, go camping a few days, or traveling several days. I know about that lifestyle all too well and always love when people I trust watch my pets. If you want a reliable pet sitter who your pets will become familiar with fast, I may be a good fit for you.

Services Offered I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and overnight pet care. My goal is to provide dependable, attentive care while keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comfortable as possible. Drop-In Visits Drop-in visits include potty breaks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention. I can accommodate up to three drop-in visits per day, depending on availability. Overnight Pet Sitting For overnight stays, I remain at your home overnight and spend the majority of my time with your pet. Because I have a dog of my own, I may need to briefly return home throughout the day to care for him. These trips are typically limited and scheduled around your pet’s needs, and your pet’s comfort and well-being will always remain my top priority. If your dog is friendly with other dogs and my dog is welcome to accompany me during overnight stays, I offer a 20% discount on house-sitting services.

I was a bit nervous when trying out the Rover app to find someone to watch my five-year-old tabby. He was always used to my friend watching him whenever I was out of town, ever since he was a kitten, but she moved away. My cat can be a bit needy whenever I'm away more than eight hours, so finding someone with so much cat experience as Emily was a huge win for me. In the 10 days I was gone, Fred absolutely loved her from the moment they were introduced. She was hired to visit him twice a day for feeding, litter clean up and play time, and every time she visited, she updated me with cute photos and thorough text messages about how he was doing. I will be going to Emily next time I need to be somewhere for a long period of town.
Emily was an absolute delight to have as my pet sitter while I was out of town for a week. She kept me updated every day about my dog, who is a senior, with how his moods and health were, sending photos and text messages. When I arrived to pick Jax up, he looked so refreshed and relaxed, I could tell he was well-taken care of. I will definitely be using her services again. She is clearly a dog whisperer and I could tell the moment I met her because Jax is a one person dog.
Emily is so good with dogs! She knows how to show them care and attention and has had experience with them for many years. You can always trust her to take care of them and any pet for that matter.
Emily has been incredibly helpful with our pets. She has experience with many different animals and always treats all of ours like her own. Emily has been pet sitting for us for years and there is no one else we would trust with our babies. Emily is caring, tidy, on time, and most importantly trustworthy!
