Because I do this full-time, I can be flexible and adapt to your pet’s routine whether that’s regular walks, drop-ins or overnight care. I understand how important consistency is especially for anxious or reactive pets and I pride myself on being patient, calm and reliable. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet prior to confirming any bookings so you can feel completely comfortable and confident leaving your pet in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a small home by myself with a secure garden giving pets a safe space to relax, play and feel at home. I also have a free-roam rabbit so I’m very mindful of creating a gentle environment for all animals with safety being my priority. Don’t worry she will be kept away from your dog to avoid any stress for both parties :)

Information Emily H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any general or specific needs your pet requires so I can always provide the most effective care possible. Also I love to know what makes your pet happiest so I can assure they enjoy their time with me!
A typical day
A typical day for me when looking after a dog can involve a drive or walk to a lovely place that can facilitate a nice long walk (depending on how far your specific dog can walk). Afterwards we would head back to mine or my parents house, depending on how high energy your pet is as my parents have a huge garden compared to mine meaning lots of zoomies and getting energy out. Both houses will involve lots of cuddles! When looking after cats I make sure they get lots of cuddles too and have a happy enriching environment.

Pet care experience
Hi my names Emily, I’m 25 and have been caring for pets on Rover for over 4 years. I am now doing this full-time so your pet will always be my priority receiving consistent and attentive care. I’ve grown up with animals and have experience with a wide range of pets including dogs, cats and small animals. I’m confident with all breeds, ages and temperaments having had close experience with many. From energetic puppies to nervous rescues, no pet is too much for me! I’m also comfortable administering medication and any other specific care needs when necessary.

Maisie had a great day with Emily. Emily was reliable, flexible with timings, and took excellent care of Maisie. I would happily recommend her as a dog sitter!! 🫶
