My partner (Ezz) & I (Emily) live in Berkhamsted with our Bernese Mountain puppy, Obi. We work remotely so can keep your dogs entertained throughout the day meaning they're not left alone. We have experience looking after puppies, rescues and dogs of all ages and sizes (from 4kg to 40kg!) Berkhamsted is a lovely place for canal walks, and dog friendly pubs and cafes. We really enjoy providing a "home from home" for doggies. We have also spent time at a Kennel Club approved training school with Obi, so know how to encourage and discourage the right behaviours whilst keeping it fun. We can handle any medication requirements, plenty of walks, and lots of sofa snuggles (for cuddly dogs). Our garden is a decent size and fully fenced. We also have an a/c unit and array of fans to keep every pup cool, and easidri towels for the wet days.

Emily and Ezz were truly amazing! I booked very last minute and they were so flexible on timings. When I dropped my dog off he was a little anxious but Emily put me completely at ease and was fab with him. We got multiple updates a day and my dog moose seemed to have the best time! He seemed disappointed to be coming home at the end of the weekend. Thank you so much for everything and I’m sure Moose would love to come again!
Such a lovely couple! They took Mango in at the very last minute and were absolutely amazing with him. We received lots of photos and updates while we were away, which was so reassuring. They have a great space for dogs and Mango was clearly very well looked after. We’re so grateful and would definitely recommend them! 🐾❤️🐶
Emily clearly loves and understands dogs. I was nervous about leaving Mabel with someone else for the first time, but Emily put all my worries at ease! I really appreciated the regular updates and the care, kindness and attention Mabel received. Thank you, Emily, for being so accommodating, particularly at such short notice. I couldn’t have left Mabel in a nicer home!
We would recommend Emily to everyone she looked after our puppy Dexter for a week and we couldn’t be happy with the love and care they showed him! They were great from start to finished, we will definitely be using them again in the future. The communication was fantastic as I was so nervous about leaving Dexter as he’s just a puppy but they went out of their way to reassure me with lots of videos and pictures everyday. Very happy.
Emily owns her own dog and takes great care of him. She is a responsible pet owner diligently doing her homework to ensure she provides the right support. She recently looked after my two dogs as well and they came back healthy, happy and even better trained(!). Any dog is lucky to be in her presence. She would make a fantastic dog sitter.

Schedule
We're available between Monday to Friday, as we work remotely so can be flexible. We're also available most weekends (unless we have plans to be away).

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
All walks are on leash unless we go to Ross's Experience which is a fully fenced dog park (and you're happy for us to take them). At home, we have an a/c unit and an array of fans to keep your dog cool in the summer! We have a fully fenced garden and our dog Obi to keep anyone company. If needed, we do have enough space & rooms to separate dogs. We also have a Ring camera in each room to check up on them (not for continuous recording). We are of course fully stocked of toys, treats, snuffle mats, puzzles, lick mats etc! We're experienced in giving most dog medications if needed.
Pets
A typical day
We usually start the day off with a nice canal walk whilst it's cooler, and then home for breakfast. Throughout the day we provide attention, play time, puzzles, snuffle mats and small training sessions (if you'd like us to). We can also take them in the car or short walk to a local cafe or somewhere for some socialisation and mental stimulation rather than physical exercise (again if you're comfortable with that ofc). In the evening we'd usually do another walk if it's cool enough, possibly a stop off at a dog friendly pub, or cuddles on the sofa in front of the TV. Rest assured your dog will be the center of our universe for their stay.

- If they're friendly with other dogs! We have our own dog & we do accept up to 2 x additional dogs at one time from the same or different families. We will always let you know if there's an additional dog that will be staying at the same time as yours. If you're not comfortable with that, this is completely fine and we won't accept other bookings at the same time as yours, but please let me know. Other info: Their usual schedule (bed time, awake time, feeding time etc) Feeding times and amounts? Walking requirements? House trained? If not, how often should we take them out? What commands do they know? Anything we should reinforce or discourage? Okay in the car for short journeys? (To take for nice walks/dog park if agreed) Any medication or supplements etc? Are they barky? Any triggers? Do they need brushing? If so, how often? Are they cuddly or prefer their own space? How often would you like pupdates? Anything else at all that we need to know to help provide the best stay possible?
