Pet care experience

Experienced Dog lover here to help!

With over 16 years of pet sitting experience, I provide loving, one-on-one care tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I treat your fur baby like family—whether they’re staying with us or just out for a walk. I specialize in caring for senior pets, animals with special needs, and those recovering from surgery—including administering medication and providing extra TLC. To ensure your pup gets the attention they deserve, I only host one dog at a time—unless they're from the same household and are already best buddies. My townhouse backs onto a beautiful park with a scenic trail that runs alongside a creek—perfect for long, enriching walks and playtime in nature. During your dog’s stay, they’ll enjoy: Daily adventures on the park trail Plenty of playtime Frosty Paws (puppy ice cream!), if allowed Regular updates and tons of adorable photos to keep you in the loop I also offer flexible availability for drop-in walks throughout the day and evening. My goal? To return your pup happily tired and content. While you're away, I want you to relax knowing your furry friend is safe, loved, and well cared for. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—I’d love to connect with you and your fur baby! Dogs are unpredictable, so I prefer to keep the pup guest to one at a time. Of-course I can make the exception for dogs who are from the same home and are familiar with each other. My townhouse is connected to a park with a long fabulous path that runs along side a creek. I promise during there stay they will be guaranteed long walks down the path, playing in the park, and if allowed spoiled with Frosty Paws (puppy ice cream). I always make sure you are in the know the entire stay with message updates and tons of pictures. I have flexible times during the day/evening for drop in walks. My goal is to get them wiped out after the walk. While your away I want you to be able to relax and know that I am giving the love and attention your animals deserves. Please reach out if you have any questions. I am looking forward to hearing from you and your fur baby:)

Emily is Milo's favorite pet sitter. He runs to her door when we get to her house. We know he is not just well cared for but also get lots of snuggles and attention there.

Emily is the best! It's clear she takes caring for your pet seriously but still makes sure they have a lot of fun. She was very responsive leading up to and during our trip and we loved getting her daily recaps with pictures!

Jack Russell Terriers can be demanding but Emily handled my two like a boss. One of the two is a senior and blind but she was able to accommodate him very well. The younger and more able dog got plenty of exercise to burn off all that terrier energy. They both clearly had a great time during their stay and arrived home in as good a shape as when I dropped them off. I appreciate that the care and updates she provided gave me one less thing to worry about during my time away. Definitely can recommend.

Milo loves his visits with Emily. When we pull up out front he runs right to her door. Emily takes such good care of our pup.

Emily has been dog sitting our 13 year old dog for more than a year now, and has been incredibly attentive to his rising health needs as he has gotten older. She’s very caring and our dog loves her! I would recommend her to anybody looking for a good dog sitter.

Schedule

Pet care isn’t just something I do—it’s built into my everyday life. My schedule is designed around giving each pet my full attention, whether it's for a walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay. Since I work from home (or have a flexible schedule, if that's more accurate), I’m able to offer consistent care throughout the day. Walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddle breaks are part of my regular routine. I plan my days around the needs of each pet, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved. On a weekly basis, I make time for meet-and-greets with new clients, staying up to date on pet care best practices, and of course, giving my regulars plenty of quality time outdoors and in the comfort of my home. Providing dependable, personalized care is a top priority for me—and it’s something I truly love doing.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether your pet is staying with me or I’m coming to you, my priority is always the same: to provide safe, loving, and personalized care that makes your pet feel at ease. In My Home: When pets stay with me, they’re treated like part of the family. I keep a calm, quiet environment with no other pets around (unless they’re from the same home), so your pet gets my full attention. My townhouse backs onto a beautiful park with a long trail and creek—perfect for long walks, playtime, and plenty of sniffing adventures. I stick closely to your pet’s usual routine, from feeding schedules to bedtime habits, and if allowed, I spoil them a little with treats like Frosty Paws! You’ll also receive daily updates and tons of photos, so you never feel far from your fur baby. In Your Home (Drop-In Visits or Walks): When I visit your home, I treat it—and your pet—with the same respect and care I would my own. I follow your instructions closely, whether that means giving medications, feeding, cleaning up, or spending some quality time playing, walking, or just hanging out together. I aim to make your pet feel safe and relaxed in their familiar space, while keeping you updated every step of the way. No matter the service, I take the time to get to know your pet’s personality and needs, because I know that every animal is different—and they all deserve care that feels like home.

A typical day

Every pet is different, so I tailor the fun to match their personality, energy level, and what they enjoy most! For my active pups, we’ll go on long walks along the park trail by my townhouse, play fetch in the open green spaces, and explore new scents on sniffari-style strolls. If your dog loves toys, we’ll have tug-of-war sessions or squeaky toy time. For dogs that are more mellow or seniors, we’ll take it slower with gentle walks, relaxing outdoor time, and cozy cuddle sessions. If your pet enjoys treats (and has the green light from you), I love offering fun snacks like Frosty Paws (puppy ice cream!) or doing treat puzzles and games for mental stimulation. I also enjoy teaching or reinforcing simple tricks for some extra brain work—always with positive reinforcement and lots of praise. My goal is to make sure your pet has a great time, feels safe, and gets both physical exercise and emotional love while you’re away.

What I Need to Know About Your Pet Before We Book To give your pet the best possible care, I like to get to know them before their visit. Here’s what’s important to share with me: 🐾 Personality & Behavior Is your pet shy or outgoing? Do they get along with other animals or prefer solo time? Do they have any fears or triggers (like loud noises, other dogs, or strangers)? 🍽️ Feeding Routine What and when do they eat? Any allergies or sensitivities? Do they have any special treat rules or dietary restrictions? 💊 Medical Needs Are they on any medications or supplements? Do they have any health conditions, past injuries, or physical limitations I should be aware of? 🦴 Exercise Preferences Do they love long walks or short potty breaks? Are they high-energy or more of a chill couch companion? 🛏️ Comfort & Routine Where do they usually sleep? Do they have a favorite toy, blanket, or bedtime habit? Do they get anxious when away from home? 🐕 Training & Commands Do they know any commands? Are there behaviors you're working on (like leash pulling, jumping, etc.)? 🚫 Do’s & Don’ts Are there any off-limits behaviors or quirks I should be aware of—like chewing, marking, or digging? The more I know, the more I can make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I want their time with me to feel like a little vacation of their own!
