I’m so excited to be another source of love for your pet while you’re away! Whether you’re looking for a home away from home, a companion while you’re at work, or a quick check-in during the day, I’m dedicated to caring for your pet like they’re my own. With a degree in cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, I have hands-on experience training and caring for animals in a professional setting. I have over 15 years of experience with animals of all ages and health statuses, including new puppies, elderly cats, adopted animals who need extra care and patience, and fur babies requiring daily medications. I live in a beautiful home in Overland Park with a fenced-in backyard and plenty of space for roaming. Looking for a more robust exercise for your fur baby? I love taking long walks or going for runs at I-Lan park — the perfect spot for pups of all energy levels. I work part-time from home which means I’ll always have plenty of time and attention to give to your pet. I have a 5-year old pup of my own named Charlie. We rescued him in 2024 and watched him grow into the sweetest, happiest boy. He’s friendly with all pets and would love to make a new friend!

We had a great first experience! Emily was very flexible with our last minute booking as well as pickup/drop off. They have a lovely home with a fenced in backyard! We received regular updates! Murphy appeared very well cared for and comfortable in their care. We plan to use her again the future :)
Having Emily to care for my dogs gives me a sense of comfort. I know that she will keep them happy, entertained, and feeling loved. I have a 2 year old Australian Shepherd and a 7 year old Shiba Inu--which can be a handful--but Emily is willing to play with them and take them to the park to get their energy out. She is very professional and it is clear that her past experiences dog sitting have made her reliable and dependable.
Emily is so loving and caring with animals, she treats them as if they are her own. She has watched my 2 dogs before and they love each and every time she comes to take care of them.
She really does love animals. Whenever Emily is around them she lights up and my dogs lit up and they truly enjoyed her. She was also very friendly and easy to contact. She responds quickly and is available very often!

I work from home on a part-time basis, so your pet will receive tons of energy and attention throughout the day. I care for my own pup which means food breaks, walk breaks, and play breaks are a normal part of my daily routine!

A typical day
I love to have regular outdoor time with your pets, depending on the weather. Playtime is also non-negotiable! We have tons of toys of all sizes for your pup, but will use any toy they bring with them. Dogs who need extra care during play won’t miss out — I have a soft carpeted basement perfect for elderly dogs or pups who need help with traction and balance. Short and long walks are on the schedule each day, depending on your pet’s activity level.
