I work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays. MWF I am home at lunch to play with my dog and any regulars. They hang out in my large kitchen while I’m at work. I have a camera set up to keep an eye on them. I work about 1.5 miles away and have the flexibility to come home at any time if needed.

I’d love to know of any particular behaviors, special needs or preferences that a pup has. What they respond best to, like if they are food motivated or toy motivated.
A typical day
I love a good game of search where I hide treats or kibble around the house and have the pups sniff around for snacks. I keep plenty of toys around the house. The dogs usually prefer being outside and play chase or wrestle around. When the weather is very hot or very cold, I limit their outdoor time. I frequent the local dog park and spend 30mins-1hr there. Beach or the JI dog park if it’s nice out. I’ll do that with my regulars and boarding clients.

I’ve had dogs for 20+ years and have lived with and cared for many over the years from my little Pomeranian to my big Shepherd. Since having 2 dogs isn’t in my cards at the moment, I figured I’d find daytime friends for my pup since I work from home now and have the time to care for and play with during the day. I aim to have regular clients and like to schedule a meet and greet ahead of time to get to know you and your pup(s) before moving on to daycare and boarding. My pup is super friendly and playful. Lets just say he’s never met a stranger :)

Emily is absolutely fantastic 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for dog care. My golden retriever miller loves going to daycare! Never have any issues what so ever. Emily is very responsive and understanding of changing situation. I work for EMS and send my dog during days. I work 12 hours. I occasionally get late calls in which I get held over and Miller has to stay longer than the original time. Emily has never had issue with the delay, always been super receptive and quick to respond, if you’re looking for quality dog care for your pet look no further Emily is fantastic!
Very thoughtful and attentive care for my dog who had lots of playtime with her own dog. I’ll gladly leave my pet with her anytime knowing he’s in good hands.
