When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medication needs, litter care, playtime, and any house specific routines. I’m respectful of each home and make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of calm attention. I’m very mindful of safety, including secure doors, leashes, gates, and each pet’s comfort level with new people, other animals, and outdoor environments. I pay attention to body language and never force interaction. My goal is for pets to feel safe, cared for, and relaxed while their person is away.

Animals have always been the biggest part of my life. I’ve owned and cared for pets for years, and I truly understand how much trust it takes to leave your animals with someone else. I’ve also pet sat for animals on and off, for over a decade. I've cared for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, from playful pups to sensitive or senior pets who need a little extra patience. I’m calm, gentle, reliable, and very tuned in to animal behavior. Whether your pet needs a walk, feeding, playtime, medication support, litter care, or simply companionship while you’re away, I’ll care for them with the same love and attention I give my own.

Emily is very passionate, loving and intentional when caring for animals. She looked after my dog, cat and fish. She loved on all three of equally. She checked on the fishes water pH levels. She loved on my cat, even when he wanted alone time. She took my energetic dog in multiple walks a day. She’s reliable and consistent. Truly the best!
I have gotten to know Emily over the past few years as a dear friend- someone who I truly can connect with about our deep love for animals, all shapes and sizes. Emily, reminds me how there are some people in this world that are just natural animal caretakers. She is one of them. Emily puts her whole heart and soul into the dedication of being a dog, cat, and even fish owner. I have seen her passionately research best practices on how to take care of her fish, and I have seen how completely dedicated she is to her cat and dog. In my perspective, she truly can speak to these animals’ souls, and on top of that, she is highly knowledgeable. She takes time to truly understand an animal and make sure they are living their best quality of life. My dog passed of an aggressive cancer last year, and I will say with my whole heart that if he was still alive and going through his cancer journey, I would trust her to take care of him if I had to go on a trip. She is deeply loving, intentional and knows more about certain animals than I do, and I was an animal protection officer back in the day. Emily is wonderful and I know if you pick her to be your pet sitter, you will be so grateful you made that decision.
Emily is WONDERFUL with animals. She took special care with my senior dog, even slept in the bed with her (because that’s my dog’s preference). Emily has also cared for my mom’s puppy, and I’ve seen her care for cats, dogs, hamsters and ducks with attention and love. She is a true animal lover, responsible, communicative and goes the extra mile.
I can't recommend Emily enough! She is incredibly caring, reliable, and treats every animal as if they were her own. The second you meet her it's apparent how much she loves animals, and she goes above & beyond to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and loved. She pays attention to unique personality and needs, and loves every animal. If you're looking for someone who will care for your pets as much as you do, she's the pefect choice!
