Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Emily was incredible, she obviously has a lot of experience taking care of and handling dogs, and was so sweet and patient with mine. I felt very comfortable leaving my pups in her hands, and I would absolutely book with her again!
Emily took care of my large husky mix while I was away for the weekend and was amazing! I didn’t worry once and was able to relax knowing she was not only being taken care of but loved while I was away!

Emily is incredibly knowledgeable about pets, their behavior, and their individual needs. I trust her completely to care for any animal, including reactive dogs or those with special needs. She has taken care of my reactive dog, Scout, when I’ve gone out of town, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my pup is safe and happy with her while I’m away. Emily is one of the few people I trust to watch Scout, and he absolutely loves her!
