Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at.
