I work as a nurse, so I have anywhere from 3-4 days off a week to spend loving on your pets! My available days change every week, so I am very flexible and willing to adapt! My nursing schedule is perfect for dog walking and pet sitting, as I have more than half of the week completely free to devote to your pets. I work most major holidays, so am almost always in town during the holiday weekends and am open to help pet sit!

A typical day
I love to explore nearby parks, walking trails, or fields. Getting outdoors and exercising is a goal I set not only for my pets, but for myself as well! Being able to include your pets in fun adventures is a privilege.

Pet care experience
Nurse by trade, pet lover by choice! I have had a pet in my home since birth! I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, a tortoise, and a hamster. Additionally, I have pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family since I was a child. I love all dog breeds, with a soft spot for labrador retrievers. Since moving out of my family home where we have 2 labs and one cat, I have adopted 2 cats of my own from the Humane Society and eventually plan on adopting a dog once I have a bigger space!

Emily has cared for our cats several times, and she’s always been fantastic. We’ll definitely continue working with her in the future.
Emily is wonderful. This is her second time watching our cats. We will be using her again.
Emily went above and beyond watching our cats. This was our first time using Rover. She did a meet and great before to make us feel comfortable. The power went out during our trip and she reported it to DTE. She offered to check on the cats more often until the power came back. We will be using Emily again.
