I'm from the UK and grew up on a farm with lots of dogs in the family. I have many years of dog care experience of all breeds, sizes and personalities and am familiar with dog behaviors and body language. I now live in beautiful Truckee with lots of amazing trails on the door step but no dog of my own. I'm a stay at home mom for my toddler daughter (who also loves dogs!) and have an open and flexible schedule which can usually accommodate you and your dog's needs. My daughter goes to day care twice a week and my husband works from home so can manage the child care when I have dogs to walk. I can host your dog at my place or alternatively visit your home and walk them from there. I'm very active so happy to take your dog exploring the local area or chill at home if that's more their vibe!

I have an open plan house with lots of room. The stairs have a baby gate on them. The back yard is not fenced. If I am walking your dog I will keep it on the leash.

Emily and her family were absolutely wonderful! Not only was she flexible on pick up time to accommodate Sunday traffic from the mountain, but she’s extremely responsive and easy to reach, perfect caretaker for your fur baby. Oliver was so at ease in her home, walking right in, and smiling on his walks and playing with Emily’s baby. Great rover! Will use her again if back in Tahoe!
Emily was great - she came to walk June exactly when she said she would and filled out a walk card each time for June which was super nice to see.
Emily is kind heated and very responsible. She loves animals and has a natural ability to connect with dogs. Emily is young, fit and can keep up with the most active of dogs, exercising and having fun playing games. I would highly recommend her to look after your dog! Rex P.

I'm at home full time so usually available Monday - Friday and some weekend too. I have an open and flexible schedule so can accommodate your needs.
