Walks, Playtime & Lots of Love
I’ve been dog sitting since I was in high school, from daily walks to overnight stays, so caring for dogs has been a part of my life for years. I also have an almost 2-year-old doodle of my own, so I know firsthand how much energy, attention, playtime, and patience a young dog can need! One of the biggest perks I offer is that I work from home, which means your pup gets plenty of company throughout the day rather than being left alone for hours. I’m happy to keep them active with walks and playtime, while also giving them plenty of attention, cuddles, and downtime. I treat every dog like they’re my own and want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pup is happy, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I have used Rover for a while on the other end (dropping my pup, Blue, at family homes) so know the importance of lots of photos and videos while you are away!

Emily is truly the BEST! I always feel completely at ease leaving Ginger with her because I know she is going to be so loved and taken care of. She consistently goes above and beyond … the last time she watched Ginger they had been playing outside and she even gave her a bath before I picked her up! Ginger absolutely adores her. She literally cries with excitement when she sees Emily, which tells me everything I need to know. She always comes home exhausted, happy, and clearly having had the best time. It’s so hard to find someone you trust completely with your dog, and I feel so lucky to have Emily. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more!

Schedule
Since I work from home, pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to be available for bathroom breaks, playtime, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I currently take my own dog on at least three walks a day around our neighborhood, so your pup is welcome to join us! I also make time throughout the day for play, cuddles, and breaks from work. I’m happy to keep your dog’s normal routine as consistent as possible, whether that means extra walks, more playtime, or some quiet time and cuddles.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large yard where dogs can safely get outside, stretch their legs, and enjoy some playtime. Since I work from home, I’m also around throughout the day to keep an eye on them and make sure they’re comfortable and safe. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every dog in my care like my own. I’m attentive to their needs, keep their routines as consistent as possible, and make sure they get plenty of supervision, exercise, and attention while they’re with me
