If I were to be in your home, I would ask what home rules you have, such as no shoes, or only use the back door, etc. I will always clean up after myself and your pet if necessary. You will come home to your pet as if no one had come in that day! For my home, I have two male cats who are very rambunctious and love to be outside, which took a lot of harness and cue training!
Information Emily F. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behavioral commands that I would need to be aware of before a walk or sit!
A typical day
One of the things that’s great about Colorado Springs is the walkability! If they love long walks or a run, I can definitely do that, or if it’s too hot or cold, we can play around inside to get out some energy! If they’re a bit on the lazy side, we can sit in the grass, have some pets and just hang out together for a bit!

Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Emily, and I love caring for all animals. I have been surrounded by and cared for them my whole life. From 8 lb Yorkies to 130 lb Mastiffs, as well as snakes, cats, rabbits, chickens, and horses, I am fully equipped to handle pets of any shape, size, and need. As a full-time school counselor, I pride myself on being patient, communicative, and attentive. I know how important it is to trust the person coming into your home and caring for your furry family members. My approach blends an active lifestyle with a calm and responsive mindset. I love being outdoors and I’m more than happy to keep up with high-energy pets through long walks, runs, a park session, or simply lots of attention. I understand that every animal is unique, so whether your pet is a puppy or a senior, I am experienced in providing care tailored to their developmental level. This includes sticking to precise routines for daily medication and following through on specific behavioral training. Most importantly, I treat your home and your pet's routine with the utmost respect. You can expect clear communication, strict adherence to your household rules, and a clean space so that returning home feels exactly as you left it.

Emily was wonderful with our pups! She is a great communicator and provided us with updates the whole time we were gone. She also kept the house just as we left it. Highly recommend her!
