I am very good with scheduling and balancing my time. Right now I’m a full time student online. I am an assistant funeral director, so I’m only at that job when there is a funeral scheduled. I work another part time job, but I am often able to work in pet care for others unless I have family in town or something that’s out of town. I’m strong with communicating that far in advance. Planning is important!

The only things I’d need to know ahead of time is how many pets there are, feeding schedules, allergies and medications if any. Also if a dog needs special attention because of behavioral issues or accidents with potty training.
A typical day
I enjoy talking to dogs like they’re people just hanging out, and play time is super important! If they need to go on walks, they’ll be walked and if they seem bored we go for a ride if permitted! I do have a doggie hammock and seatbelts for my car.

Pet care experience
I can’t remember a time in my life where I didn’t have a pet. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, reptiles, birds- pretty much if they live in your home, I’ve had experience! I’ve administered oral medication to reptiles, cats and dogs. I have experience with post-op care as well. Family and friends have relied on me in the past to help with their fur/feather/scale babies. I myself have 3 dogs, 2 budgies and 2 cats.
