I’ve never known a life without dogs; they really are a man’s best friend! We currently have three dogs, four cats, and chickens. I’ve worked as a kennel tech at the Animal Friends of Barbour County and also regularly volunteer at the Randolph County Humane Society. Being involved in the shelter environment has given experience with dogs of all ages- puppies to seniors. It’s also allowed me to work with dogs that have disabilities, such as hearing or visual impairment. I promise to care for your pet(s) as if they’re my own!

I’m very communicative with owners about the needs of their animals. If you have a high energy pup that needs to burn so energy, we can go for a long walk or play fetch. Maybe you just have senior that needs a potty break in the middle of your work day. I can look after and feed your pets while your away on a trip; I’ll send you updates and pictures to give you peace of mind.
Ratings and reviews
We have 4 cats: 3 indoor, 1 outdoor. Two of the indoor cats hid from Emily the whole week. For the 2 cats that interacted with her, she sent us updates and photos. She played with our kitty and had no issues feeding the outdoor cat. We will definitely be asking Emily to cat sit for us again. We are thankful to have her.
Emily sent photos each drop-in visit and adapted when I anxiety-ridden Chihuahua decided to escape the inside enclosure. Emily was so calm and gentle with our doggos.
Emily is always great with our elderly (finicky) cat and so patient when unexpected things come up! Thank you!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule to provide pet care. I have some regular clients that would get priority over their preferred time slot, but I am available most days.
