I am a full time freelancer so I am very flexible with my availability. I have my own car so I do not need to rely on public transport to get around and can travel when needed.

I have public liability insurance and I am keen to work with owners to make everything as comfortable for them and their pet as possible. I have experience with crating dogs when needed also.

A typical day
I love working with dogs to meet all their needs. Going on walks, practicing tricks, doing scent working and enrichment with tools like licky mats. Of course I also love having cuddles and also respect when your pets need their own space.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I have been responsible for walking them, feeding them and providing them with training and enrichment. As an owner of a nervous rescue dog I also have an understating of separation anxiety, nervousness outside and the important of maintaining routines to help your pets feel settled. I have experience in giving dogs medication and I am well informed about nutrition and enrichment for dogs. I am a very patient person and I understand how important it is take time to build a relationship with your pet where that can feel safe and secure with me.

Emily recently looked after our cats, Poppy and Oscar, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. She gave our cats so much attention, and it was clear they were comfortable and happy in her care. We really appreciated the regular daily updates she sent, which always included great photos of Poppy and Oscar. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in good hands and that everything was going well while we were away. Emily's communication was excellent, and her love for animals really shines through. We'll definitely be rebooking with her for our next trip. :)
Emily came to our home to sit with Domino for the day. Emily was absolutely brilliant with Domino, she understood he is a rescue and how to read his body language. Emily sent us photos and messages throughout the day with updates which put us at ease. From the outset Emily had a great rapport with Domino making a fuss of him and playing ball, and knowing when to give him space. Domino has a new best friend. All in all we can't rate Emily highly enough, she respected our home and was great with Domino. Will definitely be booking Emily again.
