Pet care experience
Life-long dog lover and owner with over 10 years of experience dog-sitting and walking! I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, with most of my own pups in the past being larger dogs with lots of energy. I also have extensive experience with dogs that have a variety of behavioral issues and special care needs. I started with Rover over six years ago in Washington DC and continued pet-sitting when I moved to Philly in August 2021. I live in a large apartment just a few blocks from Washington Square, so the neighborhood is perfect for lots of long walks and trips to nearby parks. 🙂 Please reach out if you’re looking for a sitter with lots of energy and love to give to your pet!

My dog had another great stay with Emily! She is dependable and trustworthy and took my dog out for lots of good exercise.
Emily was lovely and very accommodating - Xena had a surprise issue crop up a few days before our stay and Emily was more than able to handle it. Will definitely be using her again!
Emily was very easy to coordinate with and she was great with maisie! She took her on several long walks and sent lots of pictures. Maisie seemed right at home. Will definitely reach out for sitting/walking again!

A typical day
My apartment is just a few blocks away from Washington Square and nearby the Schuylkill River Trail, so I’m in a perfect spot for both long and short walks throughout the day - whatever your pup prefers!

Availability
I am available Thursday through Sunday for weekend care (boarding or drop-in visits)! I work in-person in the city Monday through Wednesday, but have a flexible schedule if you also need pet care during the week, including doggy day care or drop-in visits.
