I have had pets my entire life, and I've also learned a ton from my precious rescue dog and my 17-year-old, 3-legged cat. When I adopted my dog, sweet Torta, she was severely overweight and I helped her lose 20 lbs. She is also on daily allergy meds, so I know how that goes. My cat, Flapjack, came to me through the cat distribution system when I was only 15 years old. We have been through a lot together, including her big surgery a couple of years ago. Unfortunately she had her leg amputated due to cancer, but she has made a beautiful recovery. Along the way I became comfortable with administering a variety of meds, and gained awareness of the accommodations needed to help a geriatric tripod get around comfortably. I know how important meds, routines, and extra patience are. I’ll treat your pets with the same love and careful attention I give my own.

Emily was fantastic! She sent a video and pictures daily which made us very happy. Lola was energetic and happy, and got along well with Emily’s dog Torta. We will not hesitate to use Emily again in the future.
Emily always does SUCH a great job with Vader. He loves when she comes to check on him and it makes the short term separation a little easier for me knowing how comfortable he is with her. She is extremely respectful of my expectations and treats my home and Vader with the utmost care. Added bonus, she gets the greatest action shots of Vaders energy and happiness.
Emily was great!! She took very good care of Scruffy and he had a great time. Thank you Emily 😊 for all you did. I definitely recommend her to anyone and I will definitely use her again. ❤️
Emily was amazing! Bridgette as well as me just loved her. Emily is so dog sensitive and just knows what to do. She understood my concerns and instructions and totally complied. Her house is a dog haven for sure! All was so positive that Bridgette definitely will come back! I can’t say enough to relay how well all was!
Emily is loving and caring; her daily updates kept us happy for our Leo and at peace while we enjoyed our vacation. She went above and beyond. We will love for her to take care of our Leo anytime we are out of town.

Schedule
I work from home most of the week with a flexible schedule, and so I'm always available for morning, evening, and mid-day walkies, and can easily stick to familiar feeding/medication schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
At my place I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for fetch and zoomies. I also have a porch with a baby gate as an additional area for naps and sunbeams. I'd be happy to give you a tour and make any additional accommodations -- just let me know! Or, at your place, I will ensure to follow instructions thoroughly so as to take care of both your fur babies and your living space.
Pets
A typical day
My dog is a big chiller and she loooves to snuggle, so we do a lot of that. We also go for walks around the neighborhood, Carrier Park, and sometimes go for longer hikes. I know that most dogs have more energy than her, and so I'd be happy to play some fetch, make sure we get a big hike in, or take on any other special requests to keep your babies happy and stimulated!
