Would your dog be comforted by being cared for in his/her own home while you are out of town? I'm happy to house-sit and keep your dog's routine uninterrupted. Or do you just have a long day and worried they'll feel neglected? I'm a general animal lover with a weak spot for dogs and getting to know their unique personalities. My work involves a lot of writing which I can do from anywhere. This means I can take adventures midday if your dog likes, or offer snuggles while I work from the couch. I have a lovely 13lb. 3 yr old happy terrier mix Hugo who is generally loved by dogs of all sizes. Dogs who don't like other dogs, like Hugo. He has a wonderful ability to read them and submit and roll onto his back if that is called for, OR go in for some rough & rowdy play if the mood is right. He is tough as nails & super sweet. Ideally your dog would appreciate canine companionship while you are gone, and my guess is you are reading this because you think my pup is a plus. Including Hugo is critical for overnights, but for day activities I'm a happy to do those alone, if your that's your dog preference. A nice midday break is typically heading to Woodland Park, Ravenna, Golden Gardens, or if we are lucky to be in a new neighborhood for us, explore that. What neighborhood do you live in?
