Hello, my name is Emily! I have a love and passion for four-legged friends along with a calm and compassionate nature, I am here to provide a friendly and bespoke service to your furry companions ensuring that they feel as loved and as comfortable in my care as they do at home with you. In December 2024, I sadly lost my beloved Chihuahua, Dolcie after 15 amazing years together. Dolcie wasn’t a typical chihuahua most think of, she was so loving and always loved to be carried round like a baby as well as being sassy 🥰🐾💗 Since Dolcie passed, the house has been really quiet and I truly miss having a furry friend to love and adore so being on Rover is the perfect way for me to be around pets still as it gives me so much joy but equally seeing them really happy when their owner comes back for them is just lovely! I am available to provide a tailored service designed around you and your pets that fits your requirements, from drop in visits to regular feeding visits and toilet breaks, whether you are out at work, or away on business I am here to ensure that your pet receives the exercise, love, and attention that they need whilst you are away. I cater for all sizes of dogs including different breeds, from Great Danes to Chihuahuas and I am happy to provide a tailored service to fit your requirements if your pet has additional needs such as a specific dietary regime or behaviours e.g. nervous dogs. I obtain a BTEC National Extended Diploma Level 3 in Animal Management, modules which I have studied include promoting animal health, animal biology and the study of animal behaviour. Following on from this, I have also completed numerous animal based work placements over the years which have included the following: > Chester Zoo > Kjalarnes Kennels > Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park > Fat Fluffs Rabbit Rescue > Timberly Academy Farm > Hayrack Church Farm Alongside this, I have recently graduated with a BSc honours undergraduate degree in Zoology and I will be completing a Masters (MSc) in Primatology (Primate behaviour welfare & conservation). I have always had a keen passion for animal's, I have cared for pets since I was a child which have included Rabbits, Dogs, Hamsters, and Gerbils. The services which I provide include: Dog walking - I understand each dog has individual requirements therefore, I am fully flexible to offer services tailored to meet your furry companions needs. I will tailor walks to accommodate your furry friends needs - from taking energetic pups on adequate walks to senior furry friends who need a more leisurely stroll there is a service for everyone! Doggy day care - Looking for a safe and loving environment for your pet whilst you are away? look no further, I am available to provide doggy day care for your furry companion. I will provide frequent toilet breaks including the replenishment of food and water, and lastly, providing lots of cuddles and endless playtime fun to your fur babies! I will always provide you with updates on your pet whilst you are away to ensure that you are fully relaxed with the care and attention your pet is receiving! Drop ins - weekend break away? or at work? I am here to offer my services through drop ins. I will provide your pet with regular toilet breaks, walks, food, and water replenishment, cuddles and play time whilst you are away. Along with this, I will also send you regular photos / videos so that you can see how your pet is getting on and so you are relaxed that your pet is in safe hands and getting the attention they deserve! Due to the experience I have had before at Kjalarnes Kennels, I have worked with dogs that have a range of different temperaments, personalities, and needs / abilities. I am more than happy to accommodate for those who may require requested additional services such as nervous dogs. I look forward to meeting your furry friends I will care for on my new journey!
