A typical day
I’ll ask you ahead of time if your dog has any favorite routes or places to run around, and we’ll make sure to stop and take in all the great smells! We can also go to the park and play fetch or tug of war, snack on some treats and get some good scritches.

I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and demeanors since I was a young kid and to this day friends and family rely on me to care for their pets when they’re out of town. There’s little that phases me and I’m good at adapting to a pet’s needs. I’m also good with plants! I work as a newspaper reporter in downtown Centralia and have a flexible schedule, so it’s easy for me to slip out of the office when needed and check in on your pet. My 11-year-old cat and I share a studio apartment with a fenced outdoor “catio” for enrichment. When caring for your pet in your home, I will carefully respect your property and ensure that everything is clean and in place when you return.

Emily did a wonderful job caring for our two cats while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and sent us pictures and updates with each visit. She followed all of our care instructions and completed the daily checklist, which gave us great peace of mind while traveling. Our cats were happy, safe, and well cared for when we returned home. We would definitely feel comfortable having Emily care for our cats again and would recommend her to others!
A family member had to back out of looking after my 2 cats about a week before a planned trip. Emily responded to my request very quickly and kept the little guys well supplied with food, water, and clean litter for the duration of the trip.
Emily went above and beyond for our pets while we were away for a few days! We really appreciated all the photos and check-ins throughout :).
Emily did an excellent job with our two hyper pitbull girls. They like her a lot and so do we! We definitely will be booking her again in the future.
