Hi! My name is Emily, and I can't wait to meet your fur-babies! With over three years of experience working in a vet clinic and rescue, I've gained valuable medical expertise in caring for cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, including rescue pets. I also worked at a Dog Daycare for a year and have experience working with many dogs all at once. I have had over a year of experience on Rover. Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I've had the pleasure of caring for multiple cats at once, house-sitting for a household of up to six dogs, caring for dog-reactive pets, and have provided support to animals during their recovery from various surgeries, including spays/neuters, dentals, and orthopedic surgeries. I'm also the proud parent of two rescue dogs whom I adore. When I'm not working, you'll find me playing, snuggling, or going on exciting outdoor adventures with my dogs - Lucy and Marceline. As your pet-sitter/dog-walker, I'm more than happy to engage in playtime, ensure they're well-fed, and make sure their water bowls are always full. To provide the best possible care, please provide me with any pertinent information about your pet including medical conditions and behavioral issues. This way, I can be fully prepared to give them the care and attention they deserve. If you have any questions or specific requests, please don't hesitate to ask. Safety, trust & environment
I have experience kenneling cats/dogs that need it. Having dealt with leash-reactive dogs, I know when to avoid, distract, and redirect dogs on walks. I have some medical training and know when to contact owners. I can also read the body language of dogs and cats pretty well through my experience and courses I have taken.
Ratings and reviews
Emily is always very conscious and aware of how Dale is reacting or acting during his walks. She recognizes when he is tired or when another dog might stress him out. We always feel safe when Dale is on walks with Emily.
Dale looks forward to seeing Emily! They spend a bunch of time together and the photos Emily sends of Dale shows that he is in wonderful care and so relaxed around Emily.
Our child loves hanging out with Emily! We will always work with Emily first for pet care needs.
Emily is always incredibly kind and attentive to your child.
Based on updates, Emily was on time and spent a good amount of time with our cats. She is very clearly good with animals; our one cat who doesn't tend to be too friendly allowed Emily to pet her and play with her. Would definitely book her again to take care of our kitties.
We love the attention that Emily gives to our dog. He's always so happy when he is with her!
