I don’t have any animals of my own, so I don’t have to worry about taking care of my own dogs! I can walk the dogs if need be on the weekend and during my lunch breaks when I come to let them out halfway through my work day, crate them (if need be), and even take them to a dog park to let out some of that energy! We can most definitely play multiple times, and I treat all animals with respect and kindness!

It started out good. We really liked meeting Emily. In person and saw that she had a lot of positive reviews. Prior to hiring her she assured me that she could be there every 4 to 5 hours even during her work day on her break however, that is not what happened. She didn't show up for 8-10 hours on most days. She watched 3 of my pets but just sent p photos of my dogs I had to ask for photos of my cat when I asked for updates. She just said oh they’re all doing great without any other detail. She was watching my senior cat that needed to have her food presented to her because she had cognitive decline and wouldn’t see her food so I feel like she went too many hours without food. She also asked if her boyfriend could come over to hang at our house. After I called her out for her time delay in showing one of the days, she said it was just one day, but I have time stamps to prove that it wasn’t and then she stopped communicating. She didn’t send any other updates or photos of my pet pets for the last two days and then on the day she left, she didn’t say anything except for she would leave the garage opener. It was a terrible experience which is different than the experiences I’ve had before on Rover. I was very disappointed as she knew I was heading to the East Coast for a family emergency and then she just added a whole extra bunch of stress for us. I would sum it up by saying she’s a nice person however she works full-time and instead of this being her passion as her main job this is just a side job to make extra money and she treats it as such.
Emily did a great job with our dog, sent daily pictures and videos and updates and I was so pleasantly surprised to come home to a nice clean house. Emily did a GREAT job!!

Schedule
I currently work a full time job that I unfortunately cannot afford to take time off if I house sit, so please do not send me a request if you need someone on weekdays all day long. I don’t work weekends, so I can be there all day for the animals on the weekend and during the weekdays, I will be gone for about 9-10 hours (depending on where you live), where I can take a lunch break 4-5 hours in between leaving the animals and come hang out with the animals for up to 45 minutes before I have to go back to work.
