Fourth Year Veterinary Student!
Hello! My name is Emily Ellis and I am a fourth year veterinary student at LIU looking to help take care of your pets to help pay off my student loans and school expenses! I have many years of experience working as a veterinary assistant. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Animal Science with a quadruple emphasis in companion animals, livestock, equine, and poultry, and a minor in Chemistry. I have many pets of my own and am super comfortable with dogs, cats, exotics, etc. I am also happy to help accommodate for any medical needs for pets. Pets of my own include a dog with epilepsy, 2 cats (one of them is completely blind, no eyes at all!), 2 horses, 2 guinea pigs, 3 sugar gliders, a bunny, and a green iguana! Please feel free to message me with any questions at all!

Ratings and reviews
Emily was fantastic…didn’t have time to meet but she’s clearly great at being diligent with our two who have some special needs. She took care of it all without questions. Great at caring for animals…obvious to us!
Emily was great with our pups!
Emily was wonderful with our pets! Our dog can take some time to warm up to new people, and Emily was so patient and persistent with her — by the end, you could tell she absolutely loved her. She kept us updated throughout the whole stay with photos and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. It was clear from the pictures that both our pets were happy, comfortable, and having a great time playing with her. We'll definitely be booking Emily again!
Thank you so much for your help on such short notice. Autumn's face says it all!
Emily is fantastic! Thank you for giving us the peace of mind that comes with knowing our furry family members are well cared for when we're away!
Emily is my dog's favorite buddy! Always reliable and communicative.
