Animals are the greatest joy in life! I've been working with horses since I was a child, but have been working professionally with dogs and cats for the past 10 years. I am a certified veterinary assistant, between doggy daycares and pet hotels, volunteering for as well as managing rescues, dog training and minor grooming, and moonlighting as a petsitter on the side the whole time, I've had the pleasure of working 1,000s of animals in my life. I am an absolute helicopter furmom who believes in safety first, that will provide a constant watchful eye over every client as if they were my own. Every pet parent is provided photos and updates of their babies as they relax and play in my care. Whether its in your home or mine, your animals will be kept safe and entertained, fed, medicated (if needed) and loved while you are away. Transportation, baths, brushouts, nail trimming, training and other services available as well. Their wellbeing and your peace of mind is my priority!

I was incredibly nervous about leaving my 8-year-old English Bull Terrier with a sitter for the first time because she is reactive and struggles with anxiety. I’ve often been told that she can be a handful, so I shared all of my concerns with Emily right away. From the beginning, Emily was so reassuring and had such a positive, calming presence that both my pup and I felt comfortable immediately. She sent plenty of pictures and updates, and after a couple of days I realized I didn’t feel the need to check in constantly because my dog was clearly having an amazing time. Emily did everything I asked and went above and beyond. She truly cared for my often-labeled “difficult” pup with patience and kindness. I will absolutely be using Emily again in the future. I’m finally excited to take trips knowing I found someone who cares for my dog almost as much as I do.

Emily is the BEST! Our dogs are so comfortable with her, she takes such wonderful care of them, and keeps us super updated throughout their stay! You can tell she really loves what she does, and the doggos can tell too!
Emily is always the best. Both of my dogs remembered her and were excited to see her! They had no problem being dropped off to her. She sends us pictures morning and night and gives updates!
My Bella always has a good time when she stays with Emily. She always looks happy in the pics that Emily sends daily. Bella is happy when she gets to Emily”s house and shows her love of which she doesn’t do with everyone. Emily is professional, loving, cheerful with much positive energy. I can see she enjoys taking care of animals and Bella will be staying with her in future. I’m so happy we found her.
Emily was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. Taking care of a puppy is no easy job, but she handled it all so well. She sent photos twice a day, kept me updated, answered all my questions and reassured me that my pup was doing great. Even though I missed him so much, I felt at ease knowing he was in good care.

Schedule
Available 7 days a week. New clients will be contacted between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Clients with pets in my care may contact any time.

Safety, trust & environment
I'm available to stop in for daily potty/walk breaks, or I can house sit for extended periods in your home. Every situation is different and I can work around your schedule. I'm also able to watch pets in my own home. I live in a quiet, safe little neighborhood where everyone has 7' tall walled yards. My house is a single story, so no stairs for elderly or disabled animals. Everything is thoroughly doggyproofed with no choking hazards or passages for escape artists. Pets will have the run of the house to hang out with me wherever they decide is most comfortable. Potty breaks will be given whenever they want, walks will be given weather permitting. Feeding schedules and training reinforcement remain at your say so. All clients must provide their veterinarians # in case of medical emergencies.
A typical day
Animals in my home are free to find their favorite places to chill anywhere in my totally secure house. Games of tug, fetch or their favorite toys are provided at their leisure. Any comforts of your home are welcome to accompany them for the day or an extended stay. My neighborhood is completely walled off and a lovely place for leashed walks. They will be provided all the affection and the routines they are accustomed to at home. Whether you have a tiny munchkin, giant oaf, or special needs baby, all breeds are welcome!
