Availability
My job at the daycare is full time and I work shifts that are between 6 and 8 hours (usually early morning through afternoon). Since I do work early in the day I have plenty of afternoon time to spend taking care of pets as well as flexibility to watch pets into the evening as well. (Shifts range from 6am-3pm)

Working at a dog daycare I experience everything that comes with working with dogs. I clean up anything you can think of, I understand dog behavior and when they are overwhelmed or anxious, and I know how to handle an aggressive dog. My main priority is to always keep them safe and happy.
Information Emily D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any kind of allergies or special needs I will need to account for. I am perfectly happy to work with any kind of circumstance.
A typical day
Understanding a dogs personality also means understanding how a dog is entertained. Some simply do not want to run around but are perfectly happy just chewing on a bone. Even if it as simple as keeping them company while they take a nap. I will make sure no matter that situation, your dog will have a great time.

Pet care experience
I have been working at a dog daycare/boarding facility for over a year now, supervising up to 50 dogs a day. I care for and play with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as give them baths when needed, feeding them meals, and giving needed medications. I have experience with many different kinds of dog behavior to know when they are anxious, scared, or if something is bothering them. Outside of work, I dog sit for family and friends, taking the dogs for walks and adventures so you will always be sure they will be tuckered out by the end of the day. I recently adopted a dog through K9 Orphans, Mia. She is a sweetheart with severe stranger danger (we are working on it), so I have experience with dogs who are reactive toward strangers. Through years of experience working with dogs, I’ve learned no personality is the same. I find it very important to learn what a dog’s specifics needs are and make sure they are met.

Emily was great! Very attentive and responsive. When we go out of town from now on, we will be booking Emily

Emily has taken care of my baby 🐕 twice now, and does a great job! My dog seems comfortable with her and is happy and tired when I come home 🥰. Emily is also very thoughtful and leaves everything clean.
