Hi! My name is Emily, I work as a Vet Assistant and am passionate about animal care. I have experience with all sizes, ages, and activity levels of dogs, cats and small animals-because of this, I am knowledgeable about a wide range of breeds, personalities, and needs. I live in the South Reno area and care for my friends animals here and there so I thought I’d try out Rover! As for house check ins: I have experience in feeding and medication administration, and of course-playtime! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask me!

I have pet sat for pets both in my own home and while house sitting. The important part is that your pet is comfortable! I am open to accommodating their specific needs.

Emily was absolutely incredible with our fur babies! This was our first experience having a sitter, and she set the bar high. Due to our advanced planning window she was incredibly accomodating and flexible meeting the animals twice prior to the actual appointment. She sent daily photo updates - unpromtped - keeping us in the loop to their behavior and demeanor while we were away. She was very communicative, responsible and very sweet. Upon returning home everything was as we left it, and the animals were happy, healthy and relaxed. We will definitely be booking Emily in the future! :)

Absolutely loved having Emily check on my cats while I was away. They’re typically both scaredy cats, one of them is more timid but she got on his good side the very first day! Will definitely be booking with her again in the future!
Emily was there for me and my bunny when I needed her. I went out of county and was afraid of my bunny going into stasis with no adequate support system for home intervention if necessary and she agreed to be on call if he needed her. It gave me peace of mind to go on my trip. Thank you so much, Emily, you are wonderful!

My dog Callie really likes Emily. This was the first time I was away from Callie for a week and I could tell by the pictures that Emily sent that Callie really liked Emily to walk her. We are so glad we found Emily on Rover.

Schedule
I work 4 days a week as a Vet Assistant so animal care happens daily! I have time throughout the work week and on my days off to care for pets.
