Safety, trust & environment
I have a lovely fenced medium-large garden with lots of plants, trees and interesting bits for dogs to explore (aka not a rectangle of flat grass!). My dogs spend lots of time outside sunbathing and playing. I have two beddlington-whippet girls at home, one is 5 the other is 10. The older isn't particularly interested in other dogs at all, happy to keep to herself. The other LOVES other dogs, she's a fantastic play mate.

Information emily d. would like to know about your pet
My younger dog can be intimidated, if you have a particularly boisterous big dog then we may need some extra time to let our dogs hang out before committing to boarding.
A typical day
In the mornings I walk locally usually in the fields around Killerton House which is a 10 minute drive. Alternatively, I take dogs to one of the many local walks in wooded areas. I live in a quiet village with lots of fields where I enjoy leashed walks in the evenings. Every so often I like to take the dogs for a trip further afield to keep things fun. I like to head to places like Sidmouth, Exmouth, Dartmoor, Exmoor etc. In between walks and in the evenings, dogs get lots of attention and play time.

Pet care experience
As well as being very actively involved in the care of my families dogs ever since I was very young, I have looked after plenty of friends dogs too. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments in both cities and the countryside. I prioritise being extra safe and present when I'm caring for an animal which ensures any dog in my care is relaxed and happy. Ultimately I'm completely dog obsessed and take the responsibility of looking after any dog, be it my own or someone else's, very seriously (but not seriously enough that we don't also have loads of fun!!)
Reviews
Emily has owned and taken care of dogs for as long as she has lived, she is a trustworthy and reliable person. Any dog owner would be chuffed to have Emily take care of their dogs. She is beyond qualified and truly loves all pooches!
Emily is a kind and conscientious person who adores dogs! I would have no trouble recommending her to anyone looking for a dogsitter or dog walker. She's had dogs in her family since she was born and helped raise them from puppies to well behaved adult dogs with lovely temperaments. I would trust her with my dog 100%!
As Emily's mum, I can confidently attest that she is exceptionally caring, responsible, and trustworthy. She is the only person I trust with my own dogs and home when I travel. Her genuine passion for animals ensures she will provide attentive, loving care to your pets.
