I worked at an animal shelter where I helped care for dogs, cats, and small animals. I gained experience with lots of different categories like feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure animals felt comfortable and cared for. I also have experience with reactive dogs/cats and making sure to create an environment where they thrive and do not feel the need to be reactive. I also worked with many different types of cats, especially the shy ones who just needed more support. I have also given vaccines and medicine to animals, as well as taken a senior diabetic cats blood sugar. I understand every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow any routines and give them all the patience and attention they need and deserve! I also have experience with family animals! Growing up, we had all sizes of dogs, from a German Shepherd to an Italian Greyhound! So I have experience with all different animal personalities like door dashers, small velcro pups, and the older ones too:) I currently have a small dog, a bearded dragon, and a hamster! I truly love animals and want pet parents to feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and getting lots and lots of love while they’re away!
