I have been caring for animals my whole life. I have 3 years of veterinary technician experience and have worked with shelters in the states as well as other countries. I am also a dog and cat foster mom! I have experience working with exotics including reptiles, amphibians and birds. I've always searched for jobs that revolve around animals because they are my passion. Caring for dogs and cats is the perfect job for me, I enjoy every second of it. I pride myself in providing each pet with loving, individual care. I have a large fenced backyard and usually have a foster dog or two for your pup to play with as well as lots of love and attention!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Emily D was the perfect host. She cared for my pooch with great care. Teddy was well cared for and Emily keep me up to date and shared great photos during his stay. Looking forward to the next time!
Emily was very accommodating and responsive. She has a lot of experience with dogs, including rescues and understands how to attend to dogs that may require special consideration. Would definitely use Emily again in the future.

Schedule
I’m a full time graduate student at Marymount University and in between classes I foster dogs and pet sit. Your pup will never be left alone for more than 4 hours!

I love hosting dogs at my home! I cater to each dogs needs and enjoy running, hiking and swimming your pups if they're interested or just lounging on the couch.

A typical day
I have a large fenced yard for your pup to play. I enjoy taking the dogs on hikes. In addition to that, the canal is close by and perfect for long walks/runs. There are also many hiking trails in the area.

- If your dog or cat is coming to my house my only requirement is that they meet my dog Teddy and we make sure everyone gets along! If I have a foster pet we’ll do introductions as well. Dogs don't need to be crate trained to stay with me. If I'm taking care of your dog in your home I only ask what their temperament is like so I can be aware. I have extensive experience working with dog/leash reactive dogs, I just need to know in advance.
