I’m a full time graduate student at Marymount University and in between classes I foster dogs and pet sit. Your pup will never be left alone for more than 4 hours!

Information Emily D. would like to know about your pet
If your dog or cat is coming to my house my only requirement is that they meet my dog Teddy and we make sure everyone gets along! If I have a foster pet we’ll do introductions as well. Dogs don't need to be crate trained to stay with me. If I'm taking care of your dog in your home I only ask what their temperament is like so I can be aware. I have extensive experience working with dog/leash reactive dogs, I just need to know in advance.
A typical day
I have a large fenced yard for your pup to play. I enjoy taking the dogs on hikes. In addition to that, the canal is close by and perfect for long walks/runs. There are also many hiking trails in the area.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for animals my whole life. I have 3 years of veterinary technician experience and have worked with shelters in the states as well as other countries. I am also a dog and cat foster mom! I have experience working with exotics including reptiles, amphibians and birds. I've always searched for jobs that revolve around animals because they are my passion. Caring for dogs and cats is the perfect job for me, I enjoy every second of it. I pride myself in providing each pet with loving, individual care. I have a large fenced backyard and usually have a foster dog or two for your pup to play with as well as lots of love and attention!

Emily was easy to contact for a last minute booking for my pup Charlie. I was out of town until late Sunday and she was able to accommodate a later pickup that evening.

Our dog loved his stay with Emily! She was great with communicating how he’s doing and regularly sending pics and videos. Cherry on top was that he also got along so well with Emily’s own pup and they played together frequently. Definitely booking Emily again!
Emily took amazing care of Riggs over a long weekend! He clearly felt very at home with her and seemed super relaxed and happy.
