Hello! My name is Emily. I am currently working full-time providing care for pets around Connecticut (recently moved all the way from Seattle!) I have always loved animals, grew up with them (we always had a dog or two and several cats), and I have volunteered at various animal shelters since high school. I have previously obtained a veterinary technician certification and now have years of experience in caring for animals. I feel comfortable around every breed and temperament. I'm from upstate New York and born onto a Christmas tree farm with dobermans and german shepherds as my fur siblings, so I definitely have a soft spot for large breeds! We recently adopted a fireball malinois/doberman girl from a rescue in upstate NY so I am a proud dog mom myself and understand the worry owners feel when entrusting the care of their furbabies to another person. I put my upmost effort into making sure pets are given the attention and love they need and deserve and treat them like my own, as well as offering plenty of communication to ease owner's minds while away at work or on vacation so stress is low! Thank you for considering me as your pet care provider! **please note that we recently adopted a lovely rescue dog of our own (Nala) who is not very dog-friendly. For that reason I am only offering pet care services that take place in your home and can no longer provide boardings in my own home.

Your pet will be cared for just as if it were my own pet. They will become a part of the family and join us on whatever adventure they can. As a family, we love to hike and explore outdoors. We enjoy bringing the dogs in our care along with us if they are an active breed and up for the exercise.

Schedule
The dogs in my care will join me on my morning jog/walk to take my son to school, and breakfast with us. During work hours, frequent breaks are taken to attend to your pet's needs. Your pet will be free to roam around our house and make themselves at home. A lunchtime walk around noon will be taken. After work hours, we have dinner and one more long jog/walk to the park and back, then indoor playtime until they are tired out enough for bed :). My partner works 100% of the time from home so the pets we take care of are rarely, if ever, left alone.
