Hello! My name is Emily. I am currently working full-time providing care for pets around Connecticut (recently moved all the way from Seattle!) I have always loved animals, grew up with them (we always had a dog or two and several cats), and I have volunteered at various animal shelters since high school. I have previously obtained a veterinary technician certification and now have years of experience in caring for animals. I feel comfortable around every breed and temperament. I'm from upstate New York and born onto a Christmas tree farm with dobermans and german shepherds as my fur siblings, so I definitely have a soft spot for large breeds! We recently adopted a fireball malinois/doberman girl from a rescue in upstate NY so I am a proud dog mom myself and understand the worry owners feel when entrusting the care of their furbabies to another person. I put my upmost effort into making sure pets are given the attention and love they need and deserve and treat them like my own, as well as offering plenty of communication to ease owner's minds while away at work or on vacation so stress is low! For that reason I am only offering pet care services that take place in your home and can no longer provide boardings in my own home.
