I've had experience with dogs since I was young, but have been involved in the animal rescue space for over 6 years. I have fostered over 30 dogs and cared for many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I've had reactive dogs, shy dogs, high-energy dogs, you name it. All dogs are welcome here! :)

Can’t thank Emily enough for watching our pup while we were out of town for the week! Junie is particular around other dogs and can be a handful, but we didn’t worry a bit while she was being cared for by Emily
Emily took great care of Tori. From the moment Tori walked into her home, she was completely comfortable, which says a lot. It was clear right away that Emily is very experienced with dogs. She kept me up to date throughout the stay with messages and updates, which I really appreciated. Emily is the absolute best. She’s taken care of odie in the past and he’s recently been diagnosed with heart failure so his medication and overall care/needs have increased. Schedule
I am in the office on Mondays and Tuesday but am never gone more than 7 hours. Besides those two days, I have the ability to work from home so your pup will get all the attention that they need staying with me. I know being in a new space can be stressful for dogs, so I like to make sure I stay home with them as much as possible.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is your pup's home and I want them to be as comfortable as possible. I like to stick to their home routine as much as possible so they don't feel so overwhelmed. I live in a very spacious, ground level apartment so your pup won't have to deal with any elevators or stairs. I do not have a yard, but I have plenty of potty spots around my neighborhood and will always take your pup on a nice walk.
A typical day
Activities I offer will depend on the individual dog's preferences, energy level, and any specific requirements or limitations. High-energy dog? Bring on all the long walks and puzzles. Low-energy dog that likes to sleep all day? Bring on all the cuddles and belly rubs. Photo shoots and delicious treats are always a must though.
