Whether your pet requires medication management, specialized diet adherence, mobility assistance, or extra patience due to age or disability, I approach each animal as an individual deserving attentive, compassionate care. I don’t just follow instructions, I notice subtle changes in behavior, anticipate needs, and communicate proactively with owners so you have complete peace of mind while you’re away.

I prioritize your pet’s routine and comfort above all. Whether that means leash walks through your neighborhood, supervised backyard play in their familiar space, or respecting crating schedules you’ve established, I adapt to what works for your pet, not what’s easiest for me. I ensure fresh water is always available, meals are served on time, and any special instructions (door security, alarm codes, plant watering) are followed exactly. Beyond the basics, I make time for real connection like belly rubs, play sessions, or just calm companionship for anxious pets. You’ll come home to a pet who felt cared for, not just looked after.
Ratings and reviews
Emily has been awesome with our new Samoyed puppy! She is very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. She keeps us updated throughout the day which has made us feel very comfortable.
Emily is able to check in on my pet on both Christmas eve and the day of Christmas, and was very flexible on time. She takes instructions very responsibly and was great with my skittish cat.
Emily has been a reliable pet sitter for me many times. I have 4 cats that all have different food needs and she followed my instructions perfectly. When I go out of town I know that I don’t have to stress about my kitties because she loves them like they are her own. Very much recommend!

Schedule
I am currently working part time as a painter, part time with Rover, and volunteering for Harbor Humane, but worry not. I can make my schedule completely open for any pet care needs. I will rarely be unavailable.
