I recently moved to Harrisonburg to be closer to family and I would love to start working with local animals. My schedule is very flexible and includes early mornings, weekends, etc.

I’m happy to walk, play, sit with, feed, throw balls, etc. I can also administer medications (my elderly dog is on several oral meds and I also administered shots every two weeks for his arthritis.

Please let me know if your dog has any special quirks that may be important. I have experience with an older dog (Boo is 14), my brothers GSP (Lucy) who has a lot of anxiety when out of the house and my former dog who had a tendency to be aggressive towards other people. I am happy to make special accommodations, administer meds, and will make your pet as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I love spending time outside with animals. I can take them around the neighborhood, play in the backyard, make peanut butter kongs or take them annywhere else around town that they love.

I’ve had animals in my life for 37 years. Including: dogs, cat, fish and ferrets. I rescued my current dog from a shelter when he was 8 weeks old. He’s now almost 15 and is still the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m comfortable with dogs of any age and size. I’m a huge animal lover and spent 6 and a half years as a vegan.
