Responsible couple for dog care
We (Emily & Ed) have experience taking care of lots of different dogs. We have had dogs in the family, and often look after dogs for friends. We take the responsibility seriously, and make sure that the dogs are looked after in the same way as in their own home. We always make time for enough walks and play time, with lots of fuss and attention too!

Emily took great care of my anxious dog for the day. They have a lovely house and fenced garden, and my dog was instantly at ease there. She was great at communicating before and during the sit, and adapting to my dog's needs. I'd happily have her look after her again anytime!
Emily and Ed were absolutely wonderful with Luna! They took such great care of her and really treated her like one of their own. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos they sent via text - it made us feel so at ease while we were away. They also stuck closely to Luna’s usual routine, which meant a lot to us. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again and would love to stay in touch!
I am so glad to have found Emily and Ed to look after Ghillie two days a week. Emily took the time to understand Ghillie’s needs and story, which put me at ease. I experience them both as kind and caring; communication is smooth and easy. Highly recommend ☺️
Emily has looked after our very lively working cocker spaniel several times- from just a few days to longer stays- and our dog has always come home happy, healthy and well-loved! There are not many people that we would trust with our dog, as she can be difficult with recall and requires a lot of exercise, but Emily proved herself to be a trustworthy dog sitter who both takes account of instructions on the dog's regular care plan and can take the initiative in situations that require a more immediate decision. Emily would always be the person I would ask first to look after our dog.
I would not hesitate to let Emily care for any dog of mine, as she is definitely a dog lover. Emily is a very caring person and is very trustworthy, efficient and organised. Her home is spacious and has a large and secure garden which would be ideal for a visiting dog and there are lovely walks nearby.

Schedule
We work from home and can ensure that between us we can give dogs the time needed for walks, etc. We can generally be available around any holidays or other absences.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a good-sized secure garden with decent fencing. Nearby there are lots of areas for walks away from busy roads. Our house is roomy so that any visitors can feel comfortable in their own space, with no children or other pets living there.
A typical day
We are flexible to the needs of different dogs, but we ensure the day involves good walks on different routes with things to explore, and enough play breaks to burn off energy and engage their brain. If they are especially active, Emily can take them out running too!
