Pet care experience
Loving care for your pets and home
I’ve been formally caring for pets for 5 years. As a pet sitter I’ve taken care of dogs from small to large breeds for as long as two weeks stay. I’ve also taken care of cats, fish, and have had some experience with birds. Im very passionate when it comes to animals and enjoy donating my free time to help out when needed. I’ve volunteered for pet shelters and have completed a course on pet first aid and disaster preparedness. I worked at a dog daycare/boarding center for a year looking after dogs all breeds and sizes. My responsibilities included feeding pets their specific diets, administering medication, clean and maintain kennels, supervision of play areas, and bathed dogs before pick ups or when necessary.

Emily was amazing with our dog Axel. She was kind and responsive and sent pics each day. He felt so welcome and made himself at home and we were able to join our vacation with no issues.

Safety, trust & environment
To ensure trust and safety I communicate thoroughly and regularly with the owners to make sure I meet the pets needs. I regularly send pictures of their pets while they’re on their walk, playing, eating, etc, as a way to show the owner their pet is safe and being well taken care of. *References available upon request*
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hikes on trails I’m familiar with to make sure they get sufficient exercise. I play fetch with them, tug of war, and chase. When they get tired from playing I make sure they get all the love by petting them as they lay down and relax for the day.
