Loving and Reliable Dog Sitter
Leaving your dog with someone else can feel like a big deal! You want to know that they’re safe, loved, and in good hands. That’s what I’m here for :) I’ve grown up with animals my whole life and love dogs! I’ve been caring for dogs for many years and have experience with the day-to-day responsibilities that come with having a pet. I’m patient and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, and I want them to have the best time while they’re in my care! Whether your pup wants a good walk, some playtime, or simply a lot of love and attention, I’ll meet them where they are. I have a pup of my own: a blue heeler/pomsky mix, so I’m no stranger to energetic personalities and their little quirks! If you’re looking for someone who will give your dog plenty of care, attention, and love, I’d love to meet you both! I’ll also be sure to send many updates throughout their care.

Emily has been wonderful with my Shih Tzu over the years. She is playful, loving, gentle, kind, and very responsible in taking good care of him while I am away, from timely feeding him, to belly rubs, to taking walks. Emily is also very observant of my pup's wellbeing, such as allergies, favorite treats or toys, and other little things making him happy. She often sends pics and updates, which I really appreciate. My pup also loves playing with hers; he has his own friend to get in trouble with! Emily is one of the best doggie moms I know, and I highly recommend her for any type of dog care!
Emily is super caring, responsible, and detail-oriented. She follows instructions carefully and treats every pet as if they were her own. She is also very communicative and responsive, providing regular updates, pictures, and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. Emily has experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets.

Schedule
I currently work full-time during the week, so I’m primarily available on weekends (Friday evening to Sunday), with some weekday evening availability depending on the day. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. Whether you need someone for a walk, a drop-in visit, or weekend dog sitting, I’d be happy to help!

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a townhouse with a small, unfenced yard, as well as a large grassy area and plenty of walking paths nearby for walks, sniffs, and exploring. I also have my dog, Peter, so our dogs will be sharing a home together. Peter loves making new friends and getting playmates! While I’m sitting, I’ll be home with the dogs most of the time, if not all, aside from the occasional short errand when needed. If you and your pup are comfortable with car rides, I’m also happy to take them to nearby parks and trails to explore! I’ll always follow your instructions and your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. When caring for your pup in their home, I would love to take them for walks, stay in for some playtime and cuddles, or simply follow whatever routine and activities they enjoy the most!

A typical day
We’ll do what your dog enjoys most! I’d love to take them on walks, play fetch, or just relax together at home. I’ll give them lots of love and exercise so they feel safe and fulfilled while you are away. They’ll also get some fun, built-in socialization with my dog!
