Separation anxiety? Senior? My favorites! I have 26 years of experience beginning with my first paid job walking the neighbor's Scottish Terrier after school. Word got around and I started pet sitting cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. In years past I've worked as a kennel attendent, dog bather, and dog trainer before attending vet tech school. My professional aspirations took a turn, but I haven't lost my love for animals and the bond our species share. My childhood dog left in me a soft spot for timid and reactive dogs, as well as the knowledge to help them blossom through positive reinforcement. My current dog, Enzo, struggles with separation anxiety so you can rest assured that your dog will have constant supervision. Enzo is very dog social, but has passed the puppy playfulness stage. Our apartment is perfect for other like minded dogs who enjoy quiet company, leisurely walks, and regular treats throughout the day.

Schedule
I work from home and that schedule revolves around Enzo and his every desire. I am basically his slave and your dog will reap the benefits as well. We're up at dawn and in bed before 9p. We go for 3 walks a day (weather permitting) and regularly go to various parks nearby because Enzo gets bored with the same old, same old in the neighborhood.

I keep a tidy space and anything toxic or hazardous is in cupboards or up high. All guests are encouraged to make themselves at home.

A typical day
I am an enrichment aficionado. In addition to frequent walks, I incorporate positive reinforcement training naturally throughout the day. I also make treat "puzzles" out of cardboard boxes and soda bottles that are sure to intrigue and delight your pup.
