Who's a good dog? All of them. My step-dog is the love of my life, and I'm the person who talks to animals more than humans at a party. I have experience with: Dogs, cats, fish, rodents, horses, chickens, other birds, reptiles, and more. As a former field biologist, I handled a wide variety of animals and completed Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) training. I'm open to caring for almost any critter. Send me a message so we can discuss what your critter needs. New-ish to Rover. Previously, all my clients were by word of mouth in extreme southern Maine and New Hampshire. We recently moved, and I decided it was time to join Rover.

Emily took wonderful care of our Fiona, providing plenty of updates to us while out of town and ensuring Fi kept the schedule that makes her most comfortable, including plenty of yard time, play, snuggles and naps. We had such a great experience with Emily! Taking care of three animals is no small task, but she handled everything with so much care, attention, and professionalism. From the start, communication was excellent — we always felt informed and reassured while we were away. It was clear our pets were not only well taken care of, but genuinely cared for. Each of them has their own personality and needs, and Emily took the time to understand and meet all of them. We came home to happy, relaxed pets and a well-kept home, which says everything. Emily has a gift with animals. She has made a beautiful impact on my kitties’ lives. They are terrified of most humans, but fell in love with Emily almost immediately. When I’m away, not only does she keep my fur babies happy, safe and feeling loved, but she keeps the house looking good and running properly as well. She handles any and all issues professionally, treating my home with respect and care. Emily is my go-to pet professional who always delivers the highest quality care in all aspects of pet/house sitting.
My family and I were going away for a week and needed someone to watch our puppy Skadi. We contacted Emily to house sit our pooch. Emily was awesome! She was professional, sent us daily updates and took Skadi for daily strolls. She gave Skadi attention and love. Emily also took care of our chickens, and fed our fish while we were away. I would highly recommend Emily, and will be having her house sit our dog again!!
