I have been trusted to look after my friends, family and neighbours furry friends for the past ten years and have always enjoyed it! I grew up with cats and dogs and have loved any animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve volunteered before in animal shelters and even a turtle sanctuary abroad. I am so lucky to live in an area with so many beautiful walks - the only thing missing is a dog to keep me company! I would love to have my own pet, but I have a serious travel bug at the moment so it’s not the perfect time yet. For now, I would love to walk, play with or look after your perfect pet!

Emily was fab with Teddy. She was really communicative, flexible and Teddy seemed so comfortable and relaxed when I went to pick him up! I got some great pics of his day too! Thanks Emily!

Schedule
I currently work full time, but spend the majority of time working from home so am available for boarding most days and nights. At the moment, I tend to be in the office on Tuesdays and some Thursdays, but can be flexible with that. I can also make time for walks or visits during day if that suits best. I am free most weekends too 😊

Safety, trust & environment
I live just outside Holmfirth in an end terrace with a fenced garden, surrounded by plenty of beautiful walks! My house is quite small, so I am probably best suited to small or medium sized dogs (or of course any sized cat!). I don’t have my own pets at the moment, so I promise I will give yours plenty of attention! I am very happy for the pets to be allowed on furniture, but also if this is not something you prefer at home, I will always follow your wishes.
A typical day
I’d love to give your dogs plenty of attention and stimulate them mentally as well as physically! I love to go on walks and will happily take your dog to explore new sights and smells. Depending on the duration and dates, I have a few favourite dog friendly cafe’s which I’d be happy to visit with your dog and get them a treat, but only if you were happy with that! There’s also a few secure dog fields near me, which we could visit too if your dog isn’t as comfortable off the lead around other dogs ? If working from home during the day, we will take regular breaks to get some fresh air and exercise, with plenty of time for your dog to nap or play games - whichever they prefer!
