Right now I’m working from home, so your dog would never need to be alone for more than 2-4 hours. I currently walk my own dog about 2-5 miles a day, and she gets regular play time outside because she has lots of energy. If this sounds like a good routine for your pup, we would love to have them come along! My dog, Lulu, is a very sweet and friendly one and a half year old German shepherd/husky mix, so for any daycare or boarding requests, I require that we have a meet and greet with her and your dog, to ensure that it’s a good fit. We can’t wait to meet you!

Since I live in an apartment building without a fenced in yard, I limit the amount of boarding requests I will accept at one time. Feel free to message me with specific dates and I can let you know my availability on-demand, as sometimes I get multiple requests in the Rover app and my calendar has not yet updated. I take drop-in visits or daily walks based on your proximity to my home location, as I don’t have a car and I do also work from home. Feel free to message me with questions, I consider all requests on a case-by-case basis. In terms of caring for your pet, I can promise as much care, love, and attention as I give to my own dog! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and love everything about them. Eventually I would like to give my own dog, Lulu, a permanent friend to play with, but until then, I would love the opportunity to bond with and take care of your pup!

I accept requests on a case-by-case basis, so communication is key! My only non-negotiable requirement is that for any boarding or full-day daycare requests, your dog is friendly and can hang out around mine.
A typical day
As I mentioned above, I typically walk my own dog between 2-5 miles a day. Even then, she is still full of energy, so any additional playtime with other dogs is great! I live near Lake Merritt and downtown Oakland, and love to explore through walking. It’s a great opportunity for exercise and to get out of the house, and bringing a dog along always makes it even better :)

Pet Sitting/Pet Walking: - Provided in home daytime, evening and overnight pet care including: dog walks; bathing; meals and treats; water bowl cleaning/refilling; cleaning of litter boxes and other messes; play and cuddle time; etc. - Responsible for multiple animals at once, including large, mid-size, and small dogs of varying ages from puppies to senior dogs. - Provided dog walks and socialization, treat distribution, feeding and refilling of water, and mess cleanup for 30+ clients. Administrative: - Conducted new client meetings which consisted of: meeting clients and pets; gathering pet information; answering questions and offering advice; picking up keys. - Implementation of specific plans of care for individual pet needs and creation of individualized schedules based on needs and requests of clients. - Performed administrative duties on app-based system including: processing service or cancellation requests, email/text communication with clients, and promotion on social media.
