I’ve had the wonderful experience of growing up with and acquiring caretaking skills for animals. In my childhood home, I spent my most sacred time with dogs, cats, and horses. And as an adult, I’ve gotten to work with pigs, geese, chickens, turkeys, tarantulas (no direct handling), aquarium fish, skunks, and bunnies! I am adept at non-intravenous, at-home vet care (looking to expand that skill) and have professional grooming experience. I have worked at pet resorts, volunteered with animal sanctuaries and barns, and provided home-based pet care. I have raised multiple puppies using cooperative care-based training. I excel at learning individual creatures’ communication styles and providing detailed care.
