As a part time stay at home stepmom with a week on/week off schedule, I’ve built my days around caring for others; both two legged and four legged. On the weeks we have my stepdaughter, my focus is on nurturing, patience, and creating a calm, structured routine. On my off weeks, I have the flexibility and time to dedicate myself fully to pet care. I love being outdoors and active, and pet sitting or dog walking fits naturally into my lifestyle. It allows me to combine my nurturing instincts with my love for animals, making sure every pet I look after gets the same attention, consistency, and affection I give at home.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not currently offer boarding services at this time. With time that may be subject to change. When caring for pets in their own home, I always do my best to keep them comfortable and maintain their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s habits, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe and secure while their family is away. I carefully follow all instructions left by pet parents and keep open communication with updates, photos, and messages. With over 10 years of experience in veterinary care, doggy daycares, boarding facilities, and shelters, I’m also confident handling special needs or senior pets. I’m trained to administer most medications, including oral meds, fluids, and IM injections, so you can rest easy knowing your pet is in capable hands. My goal is to make every pet feel loved and cared for; just like they would be at home with you.

Here are some important things I’d like to be informed of before my visit! Pet’s Routine and Schedule: Feeding times and portions if needed, favorite treat and does the pet have any food allergies? Usual walk times and exercise needs so we don’t mess up your schedule! Health and Medical Information: Any current health conditions or recent injuries and if they require medication or treatment, and instructions for said medication or treatment. Veterinarian contact information, emergency contact numbers, emergency procedures. Behavior and Temperament: Any triggers for anxiety, fear, or aggression? Let me know so we can both be prepared! House Rules: Areas of the house that are off-limits, furniture permissions (bed, couch, etc.) What do we wear to go outside (slip lead, harness, leash and collar, prong collar, etc.) Emergency and Contact Information: Owner’s best contact number, emergency backup contact, back up plan for if pet isn’t happy to see me.
A typical day
I enjoy catering the day to the client’s needs. Some dogs simply require a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood to satisfy their sniffing instincts and bask in the sun. Then on the other hand, some dogs need a vigorous exercise session just to be able to calm down at the end of the day.

Reviews
Emily has walked my two pit bulls on multiple occasions and does an absolutely amazing job from being nice, clean, patient, friendly, and compassionate about ALL animals. She has great communication skills and my dogs miss her on days she doesn’t have to come walk them. All around i would recommend her to walk anyone’s dogs!
Emily has always loved animals for as long as I can remember. She has cared for numerous animals over many years including her own three she has.She seems to bond with them very well and they listen to her commands and they learn quickly.I would let her train mine or care for them.
