I'm Emily (They/Them) - though I prefer to be called Fennel. I've always had a love for animals and have worked with them throughout my life! I have volunteered at various animal rescues, shelters, and zoos and through this gained experience with cats, dogs, rodents, reptiles, and insects. I love every sort of critter and it would be my pleasure to care for yours!

I understand every animal is unique! No two people are the same and neither are cats and dogs. My goal is to get to know your animal as an individual and provide them with the care that best suits their needs and personality. I may on occasion make suggestions or in some cases make decisions on the fly as necessary, but in the end you know your animal best and I will do my best to follow the routines you've set forth for them!

Fennel did an absolutely wonderful job caring for my cats. They are normally quite shy, but they took to Fennel right away! Fennel was consistently punctual, followed every instruction perfectly, and went above and beyond to shower my cats with extra attention and affection. I was especially nervous about leaving them behind because one of my cats requires oral medication, but Fennel handled everything with professionalism, care, and reliability. I truly can’t express how grateful I am for the peace of mind they provided while I was away. I would not hesitate to book with Fennel again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.
Emily was extremely professional, attentive, and caring with my cats while she house sat for me over the weekend during my trip to Maine. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing all four of my cats were accounted for, fed, and cared for, and I really appreciated the check-in photos and updates throughout the weekend. She let me know when they had breakfast, when she was heading out for the night, and kept their routine consistent while I was away. Emily was kind, friendly, and wonderful with my animals. I highly recommend her as a pet sitter — she did an amazing job!
