Young Couple with Room to Spare!
My husband and I will both be taking care of your pup. We both grew up with multi-dog households and fully embrace the 'pets as family' way of life. Our seven year old herding dog is our constant companion and his cat sister is not far behind. With new dogs in the house, she tends to just keep to herself on the bottom floor of the house so dogs not good with cats are not a problem. We walk our dog at least twice a day. It is not our style to simply let him out back to do his business. While at our house, your dog(s) can also count on a solo or shared walk at least twice a day with "let outs" in between. Our dog's food is homemade as we have been through the allergy cycle with our pup too many times. This makes us very comfortable with and understanding of varied eating habits and dietary needs. We are comfortable administering medications if need be. We would LOVE your pup to snuggle on the couch or curl up in bed with us as our own prefers to simply guard the herd. We started really dog sitting for friends and family when we were still living in an apartment but now that we have a house to ourselves, it has been easier to open our doors up to more pups and more often at that. We have had senior dogs on medications, young pups in the midst of crate training, wildly active athletic types, food guarding growlers, and snuggle pups who sleep under the covers with us. Tony co-owns a business so has flexible hours and Emily is a local teacher with lunch breaks that allow for popping home to let the dog out during the week. If we go away it is mostly within New England to see family and have used Rover ourselves and loved it. At night and on the weekends you can find us curled up at home.

Emily was very accommodating to my travel schedule. She even brought my dogs back home on the last day since my plane was landing late. I could tell by the photos that my dogs felt safe and comfortable while there.
Max had a great time with Emily, Tony and Eddie. Emily was great at keeping me informed through text and photos. She was extremely responsive and I felt very comfortable leaving Max, he's never been boarded, with her. She made adjustments with Max's food to make sure he ate and she gave him attention so he would be comfortable. So glad that Emily was available. I'd definitely book with her again.
Emily, Tony, and their dog Eddie are the best!!! I received several messages, pictures, and a video of my Ozzy while in their care. I was so impressed at how attentive they were to Ozzy’s personality. After booking with other sitters on Rover.com, Tyler and I felt Emily and Tony were the best prepared, most attentive, and responsive sitters we’ve ever had. We will be booking with them for all future dog-sitting opportunities.
In Emily's family the dogs have always been "family". She has lived with and played with and cared for a variety of dogs, from puppies to rescues. She communicates well with the pets, understands thier schedules and needs and is respected by them. She gives them the same level of patient nurturing care she provides for the children she teaches. At her home the pets enjoy a large clean fenced yard where they can exercise and play safely with plenty of room to roam and lounge inside as well. I trust Emily without reservation - and so do our 2 labs.
Emily is a dog walking and dog sitting pro. She's watched my dog Oscar a number of times, and I always come home to find him happy as a clam. She even watched him over a long weekend shortly after I got him, and she handled my nervous, newly adopted pup with ease. Highly recommend!
Emily is a true dog lover and an amazing pet sitter! She is the first one I turn to when I can't bring my beloved 14 year old Jack Russell with me. Emily treats my dog as one of her own furry family, spoiling her with tons of love and pets. Scout has some medical issues, and Emily handled her restrictions and medicines without batting an eye. I feel truly at ease when I am away and leave my dog with Emily, knowing that she is in the best possible hands. I can't recommend her highly enough at as a pet sitter!
