Pet care experience
Work from home pet lover
I adopted my first dog, Elwood, when I was 12 years old. We were inseparable. He had behavioral and physical health issues - anxiety, chronic ear infections, and hypothyroidism. Over time I learned his emotional triggers and tried to work with him on them throughout his life. By the time he was 13 years old, he couldn’t go on walks anymore, so we would just hang out together in the yard. I gave him his thyroid pills twice a day for 10 years. Because of the wonderful experience I had being his owner, I’m comfortable with dogs and cats that struggle with anxiety. I’ve also taken care of few-week old kittens, by bottle feeding them and giving them medication (and I still have those kittens now, 8 years later!) I always want to adopt more pets, but I already have my hands full with 4! I would love to meet your pets and take care of them like my own :)

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in back yard. I have 2 small sized dogs that are very friendly and 2 cats that like to sleep all day. However, if your dog or cat is anxious or doesn’t like other animals too much, I will be able to keep your pet with me in my office pretty much all day and away from my pets. If you’d like regular contact and photos of your pets, I would be happy to do so!
Ratings and reviews
Emily does a great job with Georgia. She makes sure she gets enough playtime & belly rubs!!

Emily does a great job with Georgia. She’s in tune to her moods & plays when she wants to play. Then lets her chill when she wants to chill.

Emily was great with Georgia. She understood her needs & took care of them. She also made sure she got some R&R.

My dog looked at home!

Emily was wonderful! I left my 8 month old puppy with her and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was very understanding of all her puppy behaviors and even provided a crate for her to stay in. My puppy was able to get all of her energy out by playing with Emily’s sweet dogs. She was great with updates, even with a power outage. Would definitely have my puppy stay with her again in the future!

Emily watched our dog Bert at her house for 12 days while we were out of the country. We got regular updates from Emily and he seemed to feel right at home with her along with her two other dogs. I will definitely book with Emily again and I highly recommend her as a petsitter as she’s communicative and love all pets as her own!

Schedule
I work from home so I’m able to be at home with your pet pretty much all day to keep them feeling comfortable, feeding them at their regular hours, and taking them out for potty breaks.
