What can be better than an animal companion? They love us unconditionally and are always happy when we arrive home, whether we've been gone for 5 minutes or 5 days. I've been around animals of all kinds my entire life and am very good at reading them to know what they need, or don't need. I work from home full time, and have experience administering many different types of medications to animals, and have also worked with high maintenance dogs and puppies, senior dogs, cats and even horses and donkeys. I have fostered dogs, specifically Aussies, in the past and actively volunteer at a local rescue (Park View Rescue in Madison township). I have one rescue dog, and am currently working on adopting two feral cats in my community. Rest assured, I will take care of your pets with the same love and care as you provide them!

Emily has been taking care of my dog now with mid-day breaks for several months now and I am so thankful to have her as an extra caretaker for my pet. Emily was a wonderful host for my dog! She was very accommodating on a last minute booking and even provided a meet and greet prior to boarding my pup. She worked with me to ensure my pup was going to have a stress-free stay. I have a high energy Australian shepherd and daily I was sent updates with pictures and notes of how he was doing. Emily’s family welcomed my pup as their own and when my pup returned home you could visibly see how happy and well taken care of he was! Thank you Emily and happy new year!

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is extremely flexible allowing me to provide for your pets as needed. I genuinely love animals more than people, and I look forward to spending time with them.

I always start with a brief greeting since some animals can be hesitant with someone new coming into their home. I allow them to sniff me before I halter them to take them out. And yes, I will be the crazy person who will have an entire conversation with your pet(s)! ;)
Pets
A typical day
I give my dog multiple walks a day, usually every 3ish hours. We often take him to my dad’s a few miles away to run around. But the best part of our walks is that a few of the feral kitties in our neighborhood have decided they want to walk with us. So we have a little kitty walk and it’s the cutest thing!
