I take care of my cat every day, I feed her, play with her and groom her daily. I know she deserves the utmost care and I probably spoil her and care a little too much. I don’t have a dog, but when I’m home with my parents dog I love taking him on runs with me! It’s easy because I always set aside time to go on a run or long walk each day. I do day care with multiple dogs a week and walk a few dogs as well. I always take my pups on a couple of walks a day and also outside for potty breaks. Sometimes to replace walks I’ll take them to the dog park next door to me and let them run with friends. I know a happy dog is an occupied dog! Water is always readily available for them, and so are pets and love.

Safety, trust & environment
I believe it’s incredibly important to listen to what your pet is telling you. I look to make sure they’re enjoying playtime, if they like pets in certain areas, and listen to warning signs when they give them. I think it’s important to be alert and engage! I always like to make sure my pet isn’t getting into anything they shouldn’t. That means making sure plants are cat and dog safe, keeping medicines locked away, and keeping doors, windows and cabinets closed.
Information Emily B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog does not get along with other dogs or can be reactive, so I know to give them their personal space.
A typical day
I love to head to a dog park to let my dogs socialize. I love seeing how happy they get to see other pups! I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule so I am able to let them go out for as long as they want really. If there’s no dogs at the dog park, I’ll take them on a longer walk. When watching them long term I always do a long morning walk, let them get their pee and poo out and then do some fun activity later in the day as well, of course with potty breaks throughout the day.

Pet care experience
I’m a PAWS volunteer that grew up in a household that always had multiple pets. We’ve had dogs, guinea pigs, hamsters, lizards, and fish. When I got my own place I adopted a kitten that I truly think I must’ve given birth to because she’s my snuggly little girl that’s my prized possession and best friend. I’ve always loved animals, I was a vegetarian for 7 years due to my views on animal cruelty. I started volunteering at PAWS because I believe animals are pure of heart and deserve so much love and kindness! When I walk dogs I let them guide which way they want to go and walk at their own pace. I encourage sniffs and breaks when they want. It’s their time so I’m there to make them happy! I love going on walks and runs- so me and your doggie have that in common, let them join me! I’m excited to meet ur furry little one ☺️
