Pet care experience
Reliable and Responsible Pet Sitter
I have been taking care of animals since I was seven years old. My family had two kittens that I cared for and I was responsible for pet sitting other fur babies in the neighborhood growing up. I also attended many animal science/nature camps growing up, it’s where I got my first hermit crab! I also know the Heimlich maneuver for both cats and dogs. In my junior year of high school I applied and was accepted to the HOSA veterinary science program where I graduated in the National Honors Society. Shortly after graduation, I started working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. My job was to help restrain animals for exams/shots, organize medications, prepare/read fecal slides and determine if intestinal parasites are present, collect urine samples, and provide basic care. Overall I have had personal experience caring for dogs/puppies, cats/kittens, goats, horses, hamsters, chickens/chicks, pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, lizards, snakes, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and axolotls.

Emily did a great job as usual! the house is in order and my older kitty looks great! it’s always a concern to leave an older cat alone but Emily sends images of her medications in order to keep my mind at ease. Will definitely be requesting her again :)

Emily truly went above and beyond in the care is my cat. She met with me in person to discuss my cats quirks and medical problems. She is extremely punctual and did an incredible job with medication administration and keeping her litter box clean. Not to mention, our power went out and our generator was malfunctioning. Emily called me and stayed on the phone figuring out how to get power back to my house outside in the freezing cold. She was willing to come early or late to accommodate our schedule. I felt great relief knowing she was around to care for my cat while I was away. Definitely recommend!!

Lucy, our ten year old fur baby, has rough hips and joints. We were nervous to leave her with someone that we did not know. Emily was absolutely phenomenal, providing pictures, videos (in the snow even😌), and followed up with us on some of the Lucy “nuances,” just to make sure they were the norm. I would 100% book Emily again to take care of our pets. She put our mind at ease immediately upon her arrival. You won’t regret choosing her, and neither will your pets!

This was our families first time using Rover, and admittedly, we were nervous. Emily did such a FANTASTIC job of ensuring our kitties were taken care of. Every drop-in visit was accompanied by a text with pictures of our cats, and a message letting us know they were taken care of. Emily was punctual, respectful of our space, and provided the comfort you would hope to feel when leaving your fur babies with a sitter. We WILL 100% be using Emily again in the future!

Emily did a fantastic job taking care of our boys. We were able to go away and enjoy ourselves without having to worry. She also took great care of our home. Will definitely be using her for future trips.

Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I like to learn about their daily routine and what they like to do for fun so and incorporate those things into our routine while clients are gone, so pets feel safe and relaxed while their family isn’t there.

A typical day
I love to participate in activities that your pet loves to do. For example going on hikes, playing fetch, throwing a frisbee, and going on long walks.
